Lawn Care Services
Lawn Care can be an in depth science. In order to make sure that your lawn is growing properly you may need to adjust how often your grass is cut, at what length its cut, the watering schedule and so on. The soil itself is very important too and must be analyzed in order to make sure that your turf grows in thick and green.

Seeding
Overseeding your lawn can have very positive effects. Your turf will grow in thicker and more lush, adding proper fertilizer will help the seed to grow in healthier getting the proper nutrients it needs.

Lawn Fertilizer
Fertilizing your lawn will allow it to grow thick, full, and healthy. Your lawn will develop a deep, thick, full root system as the fertilizer is watered and the nutrients make their way down into the depths of the soil.

Lawn Mowing
Mowing a lawn may seem like a simple task, but knowing what kind of grass you have and what length it should be maintained at is a very important part to keeping a healthy lawn. Not all turf is equal.

All about our lawn care services
Lawn Mowing
We specialize in lawn mowing for residential and commercial properties in Rancho Cordova and Sacramento County. We provide precision mowing services with high attention to detail.Â
We make sure that our lawn mower blades are sharpened in order to provide a clean cut to your grass, no one likes the look of shredded turf. We also adjust and set the correct height of the mower so that the grass when cut will be able to have sunlight reach the crown of the grass.
Lawn Fertilization
Our goal is to help your lawn to be healthy and lush with deep roots. Fertilizing your lawn in the proper season is crucial. At Cooper Lawn Care we service Rancho Cordova and all of Sacramento County regularly and are well equipped to be able to help your lawn grow in this climate. Â
Fertilizing in early spring can help your lawn get an early jump to root development. Fall feedings help repair damage from the summer months, and help spur growth of the roots to last through the winter. Light fertilizer feedings in between will help maintain a healthy growing lawn.
Weeding the Lawn
At Cooper Lawn Care we believe the best defense against weeds is a thick, healthy lawn. A healthy lawn will stop weeds from receiving adequate sunlight or open space to germinate.
We try our best to attack weeds in the early spring and summer before they will have a chance to develop deep root systems and begin to choke the life out of your lawn turf. Different weeds need to be dealt with using different chemicals and methods. Give us a call today for all your lawn care needs.
Lawn Overseeding
Cooper Lawn Care will also seed your lawn. We recommend seeding in the early spring or early fall. Spreading seed will help thicken your lawn further protecting it from potential weeds. Using a seed spreader after the lawn has been aerated and fertilized will help ensure that your seed will get the proper nutrients it needs to grow healthy and strong. Don’t forget to water your lawn!
Watering Your Lawn
Generally speaking when your lawn loses its bounce or resiliency, or when it begins to wilts it desperately needs water. We recommend watering until the soil is moist 4 to 5 in down. To find out how much water your sprinkler provides you can set out a cake pan and measure the time it takes for the water to reach a depth of 1 in.
The best time of day to water is in the early morning. Less water will be lost to evaporation and your lawn will have plenty of time to dry out before night time. Lawns that remain wet overnight are more susceptible to disease, mold, and fungus.
